Every parent just wants their child to thrive.
But nothing prepares you for the moment you realize your child is struggling â really struggling. For us, it started with notes coming home: âIncomplete classwork â please finish at home.â Then came the constant fidgeting, the difficulty focusing, the frustration. By the end of the school day, our son would be so restless heâd rocked his desk chair from one side of the classroom to the other.
But what hurt the most wasnât the behaviors â it was the change in him. He started to believe he wasnât smart. That he couldnât keep up. That something was wrong with him. We felt helpless. Like so many parents, we were told medication was the main answer.
We were incredibly lucky to find a therapist who helped him build real attention skills â but it took time, money, and so much effort. And it was hard. He didnât enjoy it. He just wanted to be a kid.
Thatâs why Attention Hero means so much to us. Itâs exactly what we wished we had back then â a tool that helps kids focus and grow, while making it fun and empowering instead of stressful.
